Springtime at the farm means MAPLE SYRUP!
When Febuary rolls around each year, preparation begins for
our annual maple harvest. Tubing and Buckets are washed along
with gathering and storage tanks.  Each year we tap
2000-2500
taps. The tubing is located in
four groves and the buckets line the
roadside. The sugar house is cleaned and the evaporator set up.
The firewood is dry and stacked in the woodshed ready to burn.
There is great anticipation for the winter to break and the first
thaw to arrive!
